Position: RN Neuro Trauma Intermediate PCU
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, guaranteed 36 hours a week
Experience: 1 year Step Down/PCU
Certification: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
Must be Flu Vaccinated
Working Condition, Mental and Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk most of the time on duty.
- Meet unit specific demands.
- Significant amount of bending and stooping as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance.
- May be required to work differing schedules, shifts days of the week according to patient care assignments.
- Physical demands include push/pull and grip up to 50 pounds.
Other: To ensure patient safety it is mandatory that all licensed co-workers who provide direct patient care pass a medication and math competency test before assuming medication administration responsibilities. This exam will cover knowledge of the actions and side effects of commonly used drugs.
