Location: Dallas - Hospital

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (In the field 4 days per week including day trips to surrounding areas). Candidates will ideally be based in the Ft. Worth area. Occasional in-person meetings at our Dallas and Frisco campuses will be required. Overnight travel will be required averaging 2-4 nights a month.
Job Description:
The primary role of the physician liaison is to identify, cultivate and maintain new and existing referring relationships with provider groups in the assigned territory. This role is responsible for providing a high level of customer service by presenting information on our services and facilities, while identifying obstacles to business growth. The individual will be accountable for onboarding new physicians by implementing successful business development strategies to support and grow physician practices throughout all campuses at Scottish Rite for Children. Collaboration with our leadership team is essential to ensure growth priorities are in line with the vision and strategic goals of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as an organization liaison for referral sources, developing relationships through face-to-face visits with physicians, advanced practice practitioners, nurses, referral coordinators, practice managers, physical therapists, athletic trainers and medical staff from practices in the fields of pediatrics, family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, physical therapy and orthopedics.
- Excel in relationship building skills and be able to authentically translate a lead into a reliable referral source through the appropriate and genuine Scottish Rite for Children approach, including follow-through, as well as ongoing custom relationship management and support.
- Show referral growth results year over year tied to outreach efforts within territory, practices and physicians.
- Interpret current physician referral patterns utilizing existing reporting tools and market intelligence to assess opportunities for strategic growth within the service area. Coordinate and manage regular meetings with the leadership team to review data and discuss current and future growth strategies.
- Collaborate with strategy and planning team to help identify market insights and growth strategy based on internal and external referral data.
- Develop results-oriented outreach plans and serve as point person to see plan through to fruition.
- In addition to possessing excellent follow-up skills that are required to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships with referral sources, liaison must have active listening skills and work to understand the current perception of our services.
- Frequent issue resolution for referring providers in the assigned territory is required.
- Onboard new physicians by introducing them to providers, coordinating in person or virtual introductions, lectures or other speaking opportunities.
- Support events as needed, specifically intended to nurture referral relationships and enhance faculty and hospital reputation.
- Collaborate with the internal marketing/communications team to help identify materials needed for outreach and keep them up to date.
- Collaborate with all internal departments at both campuses.
- Maintain detailed activity reports and updated contact lists for assigned territory in CRM tool.
- Communicate in a manner that supports the organization’s vision, mission and values.

Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience working with community-based physicians and demonstrates the ability to develop trusting relationships with physicians.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
