Job Summary:
Optimized Senior Living Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Kettering team. This position is essential in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being. The LPN will work closely with the healthcare team to implement care plans, monitor residents' health, and provide compassionate support. This role requires working every other weekend, offering a consistent yet flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following all protocols and regulations.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, health status, and respond to any changes in their condition.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and other necessary medical interventions.
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Document all care provided, including observations, interventions, and resident responses in the medical record.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in care plan meetings, contributing to the evaluation and adjustment of care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and infection control policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to caregivers and other support staff.
- Oversee completion of daily assignments/tasks and assist on the floor as needed with resident care.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Ohio.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, senior living, or similar healthcare environment.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on resident-centered care.
- Ability to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, committed to the well-being of residents.
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including lifting, transferring, and providing direct care.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
