This is a post-doctoralposition located in the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME). Areas of biomedical engineering research include: Bioinstrumentation and Medical Devices, Biomaterials and Micro/Nanofabrication, Biomechanics, Biomedical Optics and Imaging, Biomolecular, Cellular, and Tissue Engineering, Cancer Bioengineering, Cardiovascular Engineering, Neural Engineering
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with a faculty mentor who determines the training agenda.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of a research project.
- Prepare and present data to study investigators.
- Author, co-author, and otherwise collaborate on reports, conference papers and journal articles.
- Supervise research assistants and laboratory personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or closely related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and technical skills with research and/or laboratory experience in the appropriate field
