What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of shelter animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Prescribe necessary medications for patients
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Being licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Washington
- 2 years of experience working in GP
- New graduates are also welcome to apply!
- Strong surgical skills in dentistry and soft tissue
- Experience with client communication
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Capable of handling basic emergencies for dogs and cats
