Our client is seeking a professional employee health nurse to join their new leadership team!
The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is responsible for the efficient and professional administration, practice, and management of applicable medical services in accordance with company policy, practices, procedures, regulations and standards to achieve desired goals and objectives. The OHN is also responsible for the treatment and management of work-related illnesses and injury, travel health counsel and program management, Workers Compensation case management, and management of Return-to-Work programs (including Transitional and Light-Duty program management).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; solid clinical experience in Emergent/Urgent Care, Critical Care and/or Occupational Health is required.
- Active and unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin or eligible.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, excellent observational skills, and advanced knowledge in public safety and industrial health standards required.
- Certification as a Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist preferred. At least two years of experience as an Occupational Health Nurse in a manufacturing environment required.
- Ability to instruct First Aid/AED/CPR desired.
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power point required.
- Must be able to work independently and complete tasks in an organized and timely manner.
- Some travel to other company locations (2 nearby facilities) may be required.
