RN Clinical Program Sr Manager, South/Southeast Texas Area - Hybrid
The Nurse Executive Sr Manager plays a key role in driving organizational performance achieved through the effective leadership and empowerment of a team of Nursing Professionals. The Nurse Executive Sr Manager will report to the Nurse Executive Sr. Director and will be a member of the CSNO Leadership Team.
This position has a high accountability toward successful achievement of both long and short-term organizational goals for U.S Commercial Client Growth and Retention, Affordability and Value-Based Network Performance. Leadership includes ensuring team understanding of the business strategy and priorities, team capabilities to execute and optimal deployment of clinical resources.
The Nurse Executive Sr Manager through partnership with Regional Medical Executive (RME), Regional Growth Leader (RGL), Regional Finance Lead (RFL) and Network and Contracting RVP will work cross-functionally to identify new opportunities to support strategy execution, integration and communication across teams to successfully achieve defined objectives and metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As part of CSNO leadership team
- Represents the CSNO and CP&Q externally and internally as a Clinical Leader and Advocate
- Supports and contributes to the strategy, innovation, and development of the organization to achieve excellence
- Translates CSNO strategies into tactical delivery plans and monitors the execution to maximize results for customers, clients, providers and shareholders.
- Directly contributes to CSNO attainment of strategic goals and objectives
- Partners with RME to understand regional and market dynamics and objectives, with joint responsibility to deliver on those objectives
- As CSNO Stakeholder, participates in Special Projects/Assignments for key business initiatives, providing technical, professional and/or business expertise at the Regional or National level
- Leads & motivates the Nurse Executive team through organizational change and in the delivery of our service model & desired business results
- Evaluates, manages and ensures optimal deployment of Nurse Executive team resources at the Regional and Market level, including hiring, retaining, and developing a diverse high caliber talent with competencies and skills necessary to excel in their role
- Builds and maintains effective deep relationships with Regional and Market key stakeholders that enable integration into strategy planning, operating frame and supports success of CSNO objectives
- Directly contributes and supports Nurse Executive team to provide clinical insights, education and guidance to Market Leadership and external stakeholders (clients, producers/brokers, others).
- Supports market growth and retention across all U.S. Commercial segments including Taft-Hartley and Allegiance through deep collaboration with Sales, Client Reporting, Health Engagement and Sales Effectiveness.
- Key contributor and collaborator to TCC (Total Cost of Care) strategy, demonstrating visible leadership and guidance toward achievement of local market affordability (LMA) through education and oversight of team engagement in enterprise and local cost of care initiatives.
- Serves as a Collaborative and Influential Leader, enabling the connection between Cigna Health Plan and Evernorth (EN) services: Care Coordination, Clinical and Behavioral Operations, Express Scripts (ES), Accredo, Evicore and Healthcare delivery, identifying pathways to improve collaboration and performance that result in positive outcomes for our providers, clients and customers.
- Manages and guides Nurse Executive team engagement with Value Based network partners to drive achievement of the quadruple aim, improve administrative burden and becoming Partner of Choice.
- In partnership with Sales, Clinical Operations, Health Engagement and others, supports process to identify and execute opportunities that grow alignment to our CACs, CCD and other High Performing Provider Partners
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Registered Nurse with active, unrestricted licensure
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice experience
- Minimum of five (5) years proven effective People Management/Leadership experience in a Health Sector related field (Health Insurance; Healthcare Professional and/or Delivery System Entities or Allied Health Industry)
- Demonstrated Business Acumen with ability to work within a changing business environment and ambiguity to balance patient advocacy with business needs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting internally (team or matrix partner forums) and externally (Clinicians, Clients and Brokers)
- Proven abilities in teamwork, negotiation, conflict management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Sensitive to culturally diverse situations with proven ability to foster and maintain cooperative successful relations with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize, align resources and execute tactical implementations that result in data-driven, positive outcomes
- Requisite knowledge of assigned Region and Markets
- Requires intermittent travel as indicated and/or approximately 40% of time

This position anticipates offering an annual salary of 124,800 - 208,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
