We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our clients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, and providing individual and/or family and couples therapy to our clients. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, LISW, LISW-S, MFT, IMFT license in Ohio. Responsibilities:
- Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs.
- Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status.
- Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need.
- Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives.
- Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs.
- Provide individual and/or family therapy to clients.
- Complete appropriate documentation.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support).
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist.
Compensation:
$49,000 - $53,000 yearly.
