Job Description
- Provide specialized care: Treat patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
- Administer medication with expertise: Take charge of administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion, always ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Thorough documentation: Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Empower patients and families: Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, fostering understanding and empowerment in managing their health effectively.
Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina Licensed Practical/Registered Nurse License is required.
- Current BLS
- Attention to Detail
- Time Management Skills
- Effective Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution
- Good Organization and Effective Communication
- Home Health Experience (preferred)
