Job Overview:
The Mental Health Clinician provides clinical assessment, crisis intervention, evaluations for hospitalization, and crisis service coordination for children, adolescents, and their families residing in Monmouth County, within the context of the Children’s Crisis Intervention Services (CCIS) system. Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors.
Qualifications:
Required:
- MA/MS Degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
- 2 years prior experience/training working with children, adolescents, and families in the mental health field.
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time
- Day Shift
- 40 hours per week
Essential Functions:
- Perform clinical assessment.
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Evaluate for hospitalization.
- Crisis service coordination for children, adolescents, and their families in Monmouth County within the context of the Children's Crisis Intervention Services (CCIS) system.
- Perform other duties as required by the department.
