Our client, a 100+ bed healthcare facility located in Western ID along the Snake River and right on the border of WA, has a need for a Surgical Tech to join their team. Equipped with seven (7) operating suites and state-of-the-art surgical technology, the hospital is proud to be home of a VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution and the da Vinci Xi Surgical System providing robotic-assisted surgery by Intuitive. There are many surgical specialties housed here such as general surgery, neurology, neurology-spine, orthopedics, orthopedic-spine, obstetrics, gynecology, ear-nose-throat, and podiatry, just to list a few.

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus, Relocation Assistance & Housing Allowance Available

**Minimum of 1-year of experience required to qualify for the Sign-on Bonus**

Full-Time: 80-hrs per pay period

Hours: 6:30am - 5:00pm

Call Schedule: 1 day/week and 1 weekend/month ($4.00/hour while on call)

Call Back: minimum of 2-hours of pay when called in at time & one half

DUTIES

Functions as a member of the sterile team
Assists in readying room, opening supplies, performs surgical scrub, sets up back table and prepares anticipated instruments, equipment and supplies
Assists with draping and establishing sterile field
Anticipates needs and passes instruments, sutures, etc., according to need
Assures safe, sterile environment through use of scrupulous aseptic technique
Needle and sponge counts with circulating nurse
Shares on-call rotation with other staff member

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited course
Surgical Technician Certification (CST) is preferred at time of employment
Certification is required within 6-months of employment
At least 2-3 years of acute care hospital-based operating room experience to include Ortho, Neuro & General Surgery
Must have knowledge of principles and procedures related to surgery
Current BLS
