The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital is looking for an experienced AP/CP board certified pathologist, who is qualified to obtain a medical license in Massachusetts, to join a team of 3 pathologists based at Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliated Community Hospital in Cambridge, MA. Fellowship training and experience in breast pathology is desired.
Responsibilities include:
- Sign-out of general surgical biopsies and resections.
- Participating in frozen section, cytology, and on-call services.
- Oversight of general clinical pathology needs.
Good communication skills and a desire to work collaboratively with pathology staff and clinical colleagues are required.
As members of the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Department of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, the pathologists at Mount Auburn Hospital collaborate with 18 pathologists at the Lahey-Burlington campus. The combined professional services provide a wide range of subspecialty expertise in anatomic and clinical pathology.
