Reporting directly to the Senior VP of Nursing Services, the RN Manager Emergency Department will oversee and manage an experienced, certified group of Emergency Room RNs who are prepared to provide the best patient care in Western North Carolina. The RN Manager Emergency will provide solid hands-on nursing leadership, ensuring safe and appropriate staffing for the emergency department that sees 20,000+ annual visits.
The Emergency Department Nurse Manager will have the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with fellow nurse leaders, Emergency Room Charge RNs, physicians, and members of the interdisciplinary team, working to ensure appropriate patient placement and safe patient assignments for all RN staff. The RN Manager will utilize their previous Emergency Department skills and knowledge to develop and implement new policies and procedures, as well as quality initiatives for the department.
