Job Summary
The Healthcare Account Manager is considered the client’s liaison within IC System to meet key relationship objectives. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing new key healthcare clients, analyzing client performance, and maintaining positive client relationships. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to developing new solutions.
Location
This is a hybrid position that requires on-site work one day per week. Office days will be at our Vadnais Heights, MN location.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain healthcare client relationships.
- Ensure clients are provided service levels that meet their expectations.
- Coordinate with the client, programming, and operations areas to define and clarify project specifications, ensuring that project requirements are met to client specifications.
- Consult with prospective clients and existing clients to propose solutions designed to meet their needs from technical and compliance perspectives.
- Perform technical data reviews.
- Analyze incoming and outgoing file specifications for project design and implementation.
- Provide workflow and file specifications for client implementations.
- Review and approve programming of client data prior to final project implementation.
- Identify and develop incremental sales opportunities.
- Work with the Vice President of Account Management & National Vice President of Sales in the selling and negotiating to retain and grow profitable clients.
- Secure new business referrals from existing client base.
- Attend trade shows, seminars, etc., to facilitate sales activity and promote client retention.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience.
- Experience in a sales, account management, consulting or client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders as appropriate.
- Direct experience demonstrating best-in-class customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to resolve disputes to a level that satisfies all parties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for audiences of all levels.
Travel Required: Up to 25% travel may be required nationally and will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.
