Job Summary:
The Chief Psychologist will serve an instrumental role in providing psychotherapy to a diverse caseload of patients and supervising predoctoral Psychology interns in our Health Psychology Internship Program, which was recently awarded accreditation on contingency.
Education:
- Psy.D. or Ph.D.
- Candidates must be eligible for psychologist licensure in New Hampshire by 11/1/24.
- Experience in psychological assessment and clinical supervision is preferred (but not required).
Additional Requirements:
- 3 years clinical experience
- Psychological assessment experience
- Supervision experience preferred but not required.
- Child clinical experience preferred but not required.

- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Must demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills.

- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed; strong organizational ability required.
- Candidates must be licensed in a U.S. state and eligible for psychologist licensure in New Hampshire.
Knowledge/Abilities/Requirements:
- Individuals must possess these skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the primary functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to use some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Possess the necessary physical requirements with or without the aid of mechanical services to safely perform the primary functions of the job.
Responsibilities:
- See a diverse caseload of psychotherapy patients (including opportunity to see child and adolescent patients if interested).
- Supervise practicum students and Psychology interns.
- Work closely with another psychologist to assist with the training program.
- Demonstrate strong therapy and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Become an integral part of the Behavioral Health clinical team and Training Program.
- Opportunity to conduct psychological assessment and supervise assessment cases (optional).
Additional responsibilities include:
- Design, plan, and lead a weekly educational seminar for the interns.
- Collaborate in the interdisciplinary care of patients with complex needs.
- Lead treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with medical providers and participate in weekly case conferences.
