Hospice nurses provide end of life care to help ensure the comfort and quality of life for their patients. They primarily work in collaborative, team-driven environments that require frequent communication with their patients, families and other caregivers. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, patient and calm. Hospice nurses are caring and kind individuals who possess a special hospice heartwho can help our patients celebrate the rest of their life’s journey.

Hours of operation: 8:30am - 5pm
JOB SUMMARY
- Serves as clinical resource for direct patient care Care Groups, facilitating orientation, Agency education and Supervisory visits.
Qualifications
A. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
- RN degree from a college or university, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and/or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
B. Skills:
o Five years of nursing experience.
o High degree of initiative and judgment required to plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate Staff performance.
o Knowledge of adult learning principles.
o EMR software experience a plus.
o Demonstrated proficiencies in computer skills.
C. Professional Requirements:
o Demonstrated experience with oral and written communication which includes public speaking and teaching.
D. Language Skills:
o Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
