About the Opportunity
The Medical Laboratory Technologist performs analytical tests and procedures using appropriate methodologies and quality assurance techniques. The role requires the ability to perform all tests (both manual and automated) in the clinical and environmental laboratories. Operates instruments that are often computer integrated and networked and uses computerized information systems. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times as deemed essential by the Medical Laboratory Technologist Code of Conduct.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Must be a graduate from an approved program in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Must be licensed with NSCMLT or eligible
- Registration with CSMLS
- Ability to work shiftwork (weekends and holidays as required)
- Willingness to travel when required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours
Permanent, Full-Time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits
$30.83 - $37.54 hourly. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
