Job Overview:
Must be proficient in non-Invasive Cardiology studies to include ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, TEE studies. Able to perform M-mode, 2-D, Color flow Doppler on cardiac neonates, pediatric and adult patients and all other duties as assigned within the Cardiology department.
General Responsibilities:
- Must develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and a “Can do” attitude.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound school.
- 1 Year experience in Non-Invasive Cardiology Echo, EKG, Stress, required.
- Must have adult and pediatric echo experience.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification, required.
- RCS / RCIS / RCDS, ARDMS licensure or equivalent.
- ARCS or CCI required.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
