SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking CT Technologists for its client in Oregon City, OR. The person will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans with precision and care, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. The ideal candidates will collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive imaging services that meet the diverse needs of the patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform high-quality CT scans according to established protocols, ensuring accurate imaging results for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring their comfort, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Operate CT imaging equipment, following safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT machines, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in imaging technology and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in CT imaging preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and radiation safety practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using imaging equipment and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
