Key Responsibilities for Registered Dental Assistants:
- The primary responsibility of the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is to assist clinicians in providing high-quality dental treatment, preparing patients for oral examinations, and supporting various dental procedures.
- RDAs ensure an exceptional patient experience by addressing patients' individual needs and maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, clean operatories, and manage dental supplies to support efficient patient care.
- Conduct radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by clinicians, and prepare tray setups for procedures.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with front and back office teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support patient care by presenting treatment records and health histories, and providing post-treatment instructions.
- Participate in daily huddles, monthly team meetings, and uphold the company’s culture and values.
- If assigned to specialty areas (Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics, or Pediatric Dentistry), you will support clinicians in these specialized fields and may require additional training. Reliable transportation is necessary for timely travel between multiple offices as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, with state-mandated certification or licensure.
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling for orthodontic procedures, pit and fissure sealant application, etc).
- Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills, with a focus on patient confidentiality and data accuracy.
