Description
Provides Orthopedic Trauma Surgery care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic following established standards and practices with minimal supervision. Physician Assistant will be responsible for partnering with Trauma Surgeons in the triage and evaluation of patients in the hospital and in the clinic. In the hospital, ordering of diagnostic imaging, medications, and posting for surgery is expected while on call. In the clinic, the physician assistant will perform evaluations, co-plan with treatment plans, and carry out the appropriate plan.
Job Requirements: 6 days of 24-hour call per month with Attending Physician and 3 days of clinic.
Job Details: Duration Fulltime, No required travel except to and from work.
Minimum Education: BA/BS/Undergraduate with appropriate certifications.
Minimal experience is ok, but Orthopedic experience is preferred.
Salary: $140K base + Call Pay, experience is considered.
