Location
Our client is located in Cleves, Ohio. Cleves is a village in Miami Township, Hamilton County, located along the Great Miami River and Ohio River. It is also just 16 miles west of downtown Cincinnati if you need some big city life. One of the best reasons to live in a small town is the small, and delicious, restaurants. There are several fabulous eateries to dine, entertain and chow down on some tasty grub. The Village of Cleves has been committed to providing and maintaining a recreational park system for its residents for many years; they are also replacing all residential and commercial water meters with a state-of-the-art meter system, which will greatly improve the Village's operational efficiency.
Practice Overview
Our client was established in 1985 and is privately owned by their practicing veterinarian and a member of the Board of Directors at the Clippard YMCA. Their practice has been recently remodeled and expanded, providing a brand-new facility. They are a full-service, multi-doctor small animal clinic that is open 6 days a week. Their team of nurturing professionals is dedicated to providing the health and well-being of animals in Southwestern Ohio as well as the Kentucky-Indiana border area. They also help support high school athletic programs, golf outings within the organization, and other community activities.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Nurture and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Ohio
- A minimum of three years of experience is preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
- General practice experience is preferred
- Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
- Availability to work on Saturdays
