As an PH Advance Practicing Registered Nurse within the Hall County Health Department. At the District Two, Georgia Department of Public Health, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways. District 2 Public Health serves 13 counties in northeast Georgia, including Banks, Dawson, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union, and White counties. APRN 1:Doctorate or Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND Certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Two years nursing experience AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia License as a APRN AND Current certification in specialty area AND CPR certification.APRN 2:Doctorate or Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Two years of nursing experience AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as a APRN AND current certification in specialty area AND CPR certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Previous public health experience in Women's Health and all other programs
- Experience with the Georgia BCCP program guidelines
- Experience with prenatal exams and OB patients
- Experience with IUD insertions/removals and Nexplanon insertion/removals
- Experience with Women's Health and STD exams
- Experience and knowledge of Expanded Role and APRN protocols and guidelines for the State of Georgia
- Written and oral proficiency in English and Spanish
- Previous experience with VHN (Visual Health Net) computer system
