Position Summary
Assists professional nursing staff with the provision of basic care to adult patients, including:
- Vital signs
- Hygiene and monitoring
- Measuring and recording patients' intakes, outputs, and temperatures (oral, auxiliary, and rectal)
Advises supervisor of abnormalities promptly and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record. This position will also perform the role of a unit secretary as needed, providing clinical and reception support.
Manages supply procurement, receipt, and storage for the unit as directed by the Charge Nurse and/or Director, and enters orders/tests accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
