The University of California, Davis, in Northern California, one of the nation’s leading research institutions, is seeking an Acute Care and Emergency Department Imaging Radiologist for a nationally renowned academic medical center in Sacramento. Part of a well-established department, the ED Radiologist will work in a Level I Trauma Center and be the face of the Radiology Department, collaborating with ED physicians and surgeons. The Department and the Medical Center have a strong commitment to academic and clinical career development and excellence. This individual will participate in clinical radiology and teaching of residents and fellows. UC Davis is committed to underserved and vulnerable patient populations.
- Opportunity Highlights
- Excellent quality of life with a 7 on/7 off evening schedule from 5 PM to 11 PM
- Call is also available outside of shifts for additional revenue opportunities
- Work with top residents from around the country who share the caseload and supervise and teach residents and fellows
- Read a high volume of sub-specialty cases in neuroradiology or abdominal imaging to align with preference and training
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with all radiological divisions and ancillary surgical services
- Level I Trauma Center with interesting, diverse cases (4th largest trauma center in the nation)
- Research opportunities if desired
