Overview
The Retail Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the processes, finances, and personnel within the Retail Center. They will understand the workings of 340B and third-party providers, working with the Rheumatology Center and Cancer Center pharmacists to optimize 340B qualification of the prescriptions from these clinics. This pharmacist will also fill prescriptions, manage retail pharmacy medication distribution, monitor patient drug therapy, provide drug information, and promote improved medication management. The manager will supervise all personnel in the Retail Center Pharmacy and must have the ability to analyze situations and make decisions inside the management structure while possessing excellent communication skills to work with others in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Graduation from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Current Licensure by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist.
