Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon with interest in trauma surgery, emergency general surgery and surgical critical care at our Level II, 425 bed regional hub hospital in Northwest Pennsylvania.
As the regional presence as a tertiary hub has expanded in recent years, it means more acutely ill patients are in-need of a higher quality of care. Project 20/20, a seven-story patient tower scheduled to be completed in 2020, will house 64 intensive care beds. In addition, the new patient tower will expand critical care services to include medical, surgical, cardiovascular, neuro and trauma critical care. At $111 million, it will be the biggest capital project in the Hospital s history.
Qualifications
Completed training in general surgery and surgical critical care or surgical critical care acute care surgery
Board eligible/certified in surgery and surgical critical care.
Superior clinical skills
Strong commitment to academic surgery and surgical education.
