Job Description:
As a Respiratory Therapist at Elevate Care, you will play a critical role in providing respiratory care services to patients with breathing disorders. You will assess patient conditions, develop and implement respiratory care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments to determine respiratory care needs
Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and self-management
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to respiratory care
Qualifications:
Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license
Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care is a plus
