Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will accomplish one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist.
What You Will Do In This Role:
- Perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses, and maintain radiation records.
- Perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area.
- Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
- Perform all related duties such as scheduling, charging exams, etc.
- Take emergency after hours call on a rotating basis.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
- Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
- Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT and/or NMTCB license is required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
- 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
