- Hours: 9:00-6:00 or 8:30-5:30 depending on closing time
What you will do:
- Implement onboarding, training, and development of BT/RBT team members.
- Support the psychosocial and developmental needs of children through scheduling and implementation of ABA services.
- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and events.
- Organize and assist with onboarding of BT/RBT as directed by the ABA Team Leader and/or Therapy Director.
- Collaborate with BCBA, Coordinator, and Therapy Director to develop training schedule for onboarding new staff.
- Meet with new team member on day one for orientation, tour of building, and introduction to team members.
- Provide training to new team members during the onboarding period.
- Assist with competency assessments as assistant assessor when requested by supervising BCBA.
- Coach new team members on writing daily treatment session notes.
- Assist with and may complete BT/RBT interviews as needed.
- Complete RBT treatment following the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) under the supervision of the BCBA.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and events to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Delegate tasks during project times for RBTs as well as chore charts for children.
- Maintain inventory of all toys, complete orders, and organize necessary supplies.
- Lead and supervise volunteers and staff to ensure a safe and developmentally appropriate environment.
- Update posted information and scheduling of activities and events.
- Participate in scheduled meetings with the therapy director and farm technician.
- Answer phones, greet families, and perform other front office duties.
- Assist with ABA schedule in absence of administrative coordinator.
- Assist with group activities and help supervise children during activities.
- Ensure daily completion of end of day task list.
- Actively lead in culture and team building events.
- Ensure confidentiality of children and employee information.
- Participate in annual performance reviews for professional development.
- Participate in one-on-one meetings with leader.
- Provide feedback to administration regarding ways to enhance the ABA program.
- Support leadership during company initiatives.
What you have:
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
- Must be willing to work with children from birth to 21 and their families.
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Maintains a positive attitude and high energy level.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and policies.
- Ability to author routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with dress code.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- 2 years of experience working with children and their families preferred.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Annual Requirements:
- Pass the RBT competency assessment conducted by supervising BCBA.
- Complete annual renewal through BACB.
- Receive ongoing supervision and comply with BACB’s ethics requirements.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate information and ideas. The employee is regularly required to move, including walking, running, jumping, and sitting. The employee is regularly required to use their hands and fingers to handle, lift, reach, and feel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be comfortable around standard farm animals.
