Job Summary and Qualifications
Physical Therapists perform assessments, establish goals, perform therapy, assess progress, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs, including but not limited to neurological, orthopedic, general medicine, oncology, and other specific diseases requiring physical therapy intervention.
What You Will Do In This Role:
- You will educate the patient and family about the disease process precautions, limitations, or sensations related to the patient's condition.
- You will prepare clinical documentation as required by the profession and department.
- You will assist the director and supervisor with daily departmental operations.
- You will effectively communicate with and supervise therapy assistants, aides, and students.
- You will communicate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- You will be responsible for the financial viability of Therapy Services.
What qualifications you will need:
- Requires graduation from an accredited school at the bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral level in Physical Therapy.
- Experienced candidates preferred; 1+ years experience in Acute, LTAC, or other equivalent setting strongly preferred.
- New graduates considered with strong or other healthcare setting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills; professional appearance.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
