About The Position
- Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Job Specialty: Medical Surgical/Float
- Job Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- License: Valid Michigan Nurse License
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Must-Have:
- Experience with traveling
- Willingness to float to different units
Job Description:
- Establish therapeutic relationships and create detailed care plans in collaboration with patients and families, prioritizing the most important aspects of care.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and interventions to promote optimum achievement of established goals.
- Initiate and maintain open communication with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and integrated care plans for patients and families.
- Communicate with patients, families, staff, and peers to ensure understanding and execution of care plans, making revisions as necessary.

- ACLS - AHA
- BLS - AHA
- Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist
