About the Hospital and Department:

- Performs over 2700 annual deliveries
- Onsite Level II NICU
- The Manager will lead a team of ~50 FTE's across the Birthplace including L&D, Antepartum, OB ED and OB OR/PACU
- Reports to the Director of Women's Services, and will collaborate with the NICU Manager
- Well supported by a team of experienced Charge RN's
About the Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager Position:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the day to day operations of a growing, well-loved family birthplace that performs over 2700 annual deliveries. We are seeking an inspirational, servant leader with a strong level of clinical labor and delivery knowledge who can promote an atmosphere of trust and safety, manage the annual budget, utilize evidence based practice, and identify best practices that ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the community's newest moms, babies and families.
Qualifications & Requirements for Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager:
- BSN required / Master's preferred
- RN Active License
- Must have at least three (3) years of general Labor and Delivery clinical nursing experience
- Minimum two (2) years of progressive nursing leadership experience
- OB certification is a plus
- INSPIRATIONAL and COLLABORATIVE leadership style
- Able to foster positive relationships across all levels
