Associate Veterinarian - Illinois
Our client is looking for a Senior Associate Veterinarian for their high-quality hospital in the Peoria, IL area. The Peoria area has over 500,000 people and is midway between Chicago and St. Louis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and diagnostic care
- Internal medicine and client education
- Proficient in interpreting radiology and basic ultrasound
- Surgery skills with soft tissue; interest in orthopedics and endoscopy
The hospital has a stable staff and is open M-F and until noon Saturday. After-hours emergencies, weekends, and holidays cases are referred. Compensation is production with a guaranteed base plus insurance, CE, and SEP retirement plan.
Qualifications:
- IL license in good standing
- 3-4 years of experience
- Good communication skills
- Sense of humor
- Desire to expand knowledge of ultrasound, orthopedics, and endoscopy
