Primary responsibilities will include: strategic oversight of the department, budget management, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient safety, and building positive and collaborative physician relationships.

About the Hospital and Department:

Position will manage a growing 35+ bed ED with over 45k annual visits and a team of 75 FTE's
Well supported by an Assistant Manager, team of Charge Nurses and an Educator
Reports directly to a collaborative and dynamic Chief Nursing Officer
Strong opportunities for growth and advancement within the health system

Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Emergency Department (RN):

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required / Master's strongly preferred
Active RN License
CEN preferred
5+ years of ER clinical nursing experience required
2+ years of ER leadership experience as an Emergency Department Manager or Director level required
Energetic and dynamic leader who will be able to ensure the team has the tools they need to provide the best patient care to the community
Demonstrated track record of improving employee satisfaction/engagement, throughput times, and the patient experience
