Call Center Coordinator - Cardiology Outpatient Clinic
PIH Health is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Call Center Coordinator at the Cardiology Outpatient Clinic. This full-time, regular/at-will position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $28.35. As a Call Center Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our healthcare network, serving approximately 3 million residents in the Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley region.
Under the direction of IDS Call Center Management, you will perform tasks related to patient scheduling and pre-registration with efficiency, accuracy, and hospitality, ensuring that the needs of patients, physicians, and the organization are met. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues, engaging in performance improvement activities, and serving as a communication facilitator for your area of responsibility. No travel is required for this entry-level position.

Required Experience
- Successful completion of high school education or GED
- Minimum 1 year Customer Service experience
- Ability to maintain composure and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Telephone experience with excellent telephone etiquette (Preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance/authorization process and basic medical terminology (Preferred)
- Medical Assistant (Preferred)
- Work experience in a Call Center setting (Preferred)
