Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technologist or Radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required.
- Current CPR certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Special Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/Composing Reports.
- Analytical, CRT, and Medical Terms.
- Work Schedule: Flexible.
- Equipment Operated: Ionizing Radiation equipment, image processing equipment, and other related clinical equipment.
