We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team and assist individuals with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities to achieve independence and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate will work with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide therapy to help them regain strength, improve motor skills, and enhance their daily living skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve clients' motor skills and functional abilities.
- Teach clients new techniques for completing activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate clients and their families on how to continue progress at home.
- Stay current on occupational therapy best practices and trends in the field.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
- CPR certification.
