Job Summary
As a Procedural Registered Nurse, you will work as a licensed professional and use the nursing practice model to oversee patient care by the healthcare team. Your responsibilities will involve assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses for health issues, and developing personalized care plans. You will also assess patient responses regularly. Your contributions will help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the healthcare system. This will prevent complications and delays. Delegating tasks to other staff will be based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
What You'll Do
- Use careful clinical judgement to assess patients and prioritize their needs, creating and adjusting care plans for better results.
- Assess nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness, track indicators, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Teach patients and staff, integrating education into care at all levels.
- Utilize strategies and resources to solve problems for patients, families, and staff.
- Enhance nursing practice and work environment through professionalism and meaningful recognition of others' contributions.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role
- In-depth understanding of nursing as well as patient care standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and professional standards, certification and accreditation requirements, and departmental policies.

Qualifications
- Accredited program or 2 years minimum, required for this position.
- A major focus or specialization in Nursing.
- Ideally, some relevant professional experience, though less than a year would suffice.
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
