Job DescriptionSLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking applicants for Clinical Geneticist positions available in the Division of Medical Genetics of the Department of Pediatrics. The appointments are anticipated to be at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications and experience. Candidates for the positions should have ABMG active candidate status or certification as a Clinical Geneticist or Biochemical Geneticist.
Responsibilities- Participation in clinical care, medical education, and administrative duties.
- Provide a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and other area hospitals and outreach clinic sites.
- Involvement in clinical and molecular genetics research projects.
- Teaching in both didactic and clinical settings at the medical student and post-graduate levels.
QualificationsThe candidate should have an interest in academic and scholarly achievement in clinical genetics.
The institution is open to working with many types of foreign visa holders, as well as green card holders and US citizens.
