We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled and motivated individuals to join our team of Clinical Systems Specialists. Previous experience in healthcare information technology is not essential, although a reasonable level of IT literacy and a keen eye for detail is required. We will provide all the training and development you will need to become an expert in ensuring all technical solutions are fully tested, documented, change controlled and deployed safely and efficiently.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will be joining a fun and dynamic team of experts in the end-to-end delivery of electronic solutions designed to improve the safety and care of patients. You will have the opportunity to understand how digital processes work and be the key in supporting the technical experts in delivering a wide range of solutions. You will be responsible for access to a number of different systems and environments, testing of solutions to agree deployment whilst maintaining valued relationships to ensure everyone has the support and aftercare needed. This will also include continually developing the Change Management documentation and deployment processes. In order to succeed in the role, the ideal candidate will have:

As part of the EPR team, you will play an important role in ensuring that we develop and maintain our electronic patient record, in a way that supports clinicians to deliver the best patient care. Job responsibilities
This role combines a mix of office-based and home working. You will be:
- Offering advice and guidance on the criteria to be met to allow solutions to be safe and ready to move through environments
- Working with the wider IT team to manage their system access to meet their needs
- Supporting the creation and development of both new and updated system implementations
- Participating in business change, design, configuration, development and system testing
- Working flexibly and together with the team to achieve project and optimisation delivery
- Involved in developing a robust and functional change management methodology
- Able to make sensible and informed decisions about the required deployment standards being met before giving access to move solutions through to live deployment
- Involved in the testing of solutions and checking supporting documentation to ensure every deployment is functional and safe
- Providing on-the-ground support including working out of hours/nights, during system implementations
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Qualification in Change Management or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuous learning
Experience
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of change management concepts including change control, process mapping and redesign, stakeholder management and benefits management
- Experience of administering and tracking progress of technical deployments through a multi-environment system
- Experience in testing technical solutions
- Experience of implementing innovation and improvement processes & methodology
- Experience in the use of an electronic clinical system
Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of a range of Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and in particular Excel
- Proactive, takes own initiative and able to manage own workload under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Able to diagnose and solve complex problems involving systems used by a large number of staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff at all levels
- Eye for detail to ensure required criteria is met in order to fulfill a safe and documented deployment
