FTE: 0.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
Position Summary
The Surgical Tech OB is responsible for assisting the surgeon during C-sections and ensures the surgical suite is adequately prepared for C-sections. In addition, the Surgical Tech – OB cleans, wraps and sends all instruments to Central Service for sterilization, ensures labor and delivery rooms are adequately stocked and prepared, and assists Labor and Delivery nurses as needed. Work situations are primarily routine, but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation. This position requires a service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of supporting the delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision-making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Surgical Technician License within 90 days of hire
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Minimum one (1) year of work experience in OB or in the Operating Room preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $27.43 - $45.32 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
