Your Role on the Team
The Chao Digestive Health Institute at UCI Health seeks to deliver the highest quality and most advanced comprehensive digestive health care. We are recruiting a fulltime board-certified Colon & Rectal Surgeon with a commitment to providing quality clinical care and expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches. This individual should have at least 3 years' experience in treating diseases including colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor disorders, and benign and complex anorectal disease.
Primary responsibilities include expanding and innovating inpatient and outpatient clinical care at UCI Health community clinical sites, building a practice and fostering collegial relationships with community-based physicians and specialty care surgeons throughout the UCI Health system. This position may require ED call coverage shared with other general/specialty surgeons.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $446,381- $572,421. In addition, candidates have the potential to earn contingent on performance and experience.
Required:
- Candidates must possess a M.D. degree
- Board-certified or eligible in the field of Colon & Rectal surgery
- Eligible for California licensure
- Experienced in providing and/or oversight of care.
