We are recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst with a clear path to manager for a long-standing Company who is an Industry leader in this market. This is a key role within their Finance group who will be responsible for Budgeting and Forecasting, as well as Ad Hoc Analysis, creating Dashboards and financial modeling.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and analysis to drive strategic decision-making within the organization. You will work closely with the CFO as well as other functional groups across the company. Salary to $125K, this is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Help drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, gathering input from invested departments.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and evaluate capital investment projects. This includes creating KPI Dashboards, Ad Hoc Analysis as the business dictates, and providing process documentation.
- Provide variance analysis and performance reporting to identify areas of improvement.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for select operations, your audience may include non-Finance professionals.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards and company policies.
- Present financial performance and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
Decision Support:
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on the creation of financial modeling, Dashboards, and other initiatives. This is in addition to driving a budget and a forecast.
- Some exposure to a Major ERP is a plus as is advanced Excel skills. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and related programs are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
