Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Process insurance claims and handle prescription billing.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Proficiency with PrimeRx.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus.
