As our Accounting & Payroll Manager, youll play a pivotal role in driving the financial health of our company. Youll oversee payroll processing, but more importantly, youll lead the charge on financial reporting, analysis, accounts management, and compliance. Youll also manage and mentor a team member responsible for Accounts Receivable and Payables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports to support data-driven decision-making. Strong data analysis skills are essential.
- General Ledger Management: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting through effective general ledger oversight.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership on budget creation and financial forecasting to help shape the companys growth strategies.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability and business continuity.
- Payroll Processing: Accurately manage weekly payroll, while ensuring compliance with multi-state and federal regulations.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable Oversight: Guide and mentor a team member responsible for AR/AP, ensuring efficient and accurate financial processing.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement financial process improvements and automation to drive efficiency.
- Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and prepare for audits.

What we are looking for:
- Experience with financial reporting, analysis, and general ledger management
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Multi-state payroll processing experience (Paycom preferred, but not required)
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Payable management
- Proven ability to manage and mentor team members
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks prefered)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and high degree of professionalism
