Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple audit projects across diverse industries, ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Review and evaluate staff accountants’ work for precision and adherence to standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients to update on audit progress and discuss issues, ensuring strong professional relationships.
- Supervise administrative tasks such as billing and ensuring timely meeting of all deadlines.
- Lead team meetings to assess progress, distribute tasks, and discuss strategies to improve efficiency and performance.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, guiding them in complex audit procedures and professional growth.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Possess a current CPA license.
- Have a minimum of 5 years and up to 10 years of audit experience.
- Capable of managing multiple project timelines and deliverables.
- Exhibit strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in public accounting is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managerial experience in an audit setting.
