Position Summary:
HR Business Partners (HRBPs) are the primary link between managers in business units and the corporate People function. Under the direction of the Director of People Operations, HRBPs develop and cultivate relationships with leaders of the business units to which they are assigned. They work with the leaders to help them align their business objectives, customer expectations, and resource allocations with the needs of the people on their teams in compliance with all Company policies, relevant laws, and applicable regulations.
The Senior HRBP - Site Lead will serve as the HR site lead for the Merritt Island, Florida location. Depending upon business needs and individual HRBP capacity, they may engage in a variety of interactions with managers and employees. They are responsible for providing strategic and tactical partnership, consultative support to management, facilitation of administrative processes, and developing practical, creative and innovative solutions, in the areas of organizational and staff development, performance management, employee engagement, rewards & recognition, and employee relations. They participate in business unit staff meetings, listen for feedback about people programs, and take advantage of opportunities to advocate better leadership practices.

- Drives and delivers high-quality project work for the benefit of Airbus U.S. organizations. This type of work requires exemplary team working abilities across different geographical locations, time zones, and cultures.
- Works cross-functionally to identify and develop HR solutions that will ultimately improve business results through lowering turnover, increasing retention, developing high-performing co-workers, etc.
- Manages employee relations issues at various levels of complexity ensuring effective resolutions.
- Serves as an ambassador of people management practices and a driver of change who leverages influence and partnership skills to enhance the effectiveness of individuals and teams in achieving Company goals.
- May build and lead projects within HR or for HR initiatives in the business unit(s).
- May serve as a mentor to other HRBPs and/or Coordinators.
- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition and leadership on forecasting resource needs and ensuring a strong and diverse talent pipeline.
- Supports the continuous improvement of HR workflows. Provides process failure feedback to corporate department staff when appropriate.
- Monitors employee engagement and works with leadership to develop and implement strategies to re-energize and re-engage the workforce when needed.
- Assists in creating, maintaining, and improving HR Operations standard operating procedures with a focus on innovation, streamlining, and automation of processes.
- Communicates and collaborates with internal groups and affiliates to support organizational initiatives.
- Initiates and monitors all steps in the onboarding process.
- Supports some HR transactional activities and processes pertaining to new hires, terminations, and other employment transactions.
- Ensures that appropriate measures are taken to preserve employee data confidentiality, and integrity in accordance with security and privacy policies.
- Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Produces routine and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Relevant Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience of increasing responsibility as an HRBP.
- Experience delivering results in a high-growth, fast-paced or dynamic organization.
- Strong consultative and communication skills.
- Experience in handling complex employee relations matters and conflict resolution, fostering a positive and fair workplace.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of federal, multi-state, and local employment laws.
- Experience with reporting and data analytics is highly desired.
- Previous HR experience with a national/global organization in the government contracting industry preferred.
