As a Global Senior Marketing Consultant at Caterpillar Inc., you will lead the charge in shaping and executing the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy starting with Technology Machine Upgrades, with a key focus on the transformative Project Emurge.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute the global GTM strategy for Technology Machine Upgrades (Project Emurge):
- Put together the global Go-to-Market plan on technology machine upgrade to drive awareness, transaction and installation/upgrade.
- Align, monitor and drive sales and adoption targets achievement by collaborating with our team and across the enterprise.
- Gather voice of customer and conduct market research to identify customer needs and opportunities for Emurge.
- Act as one of the key experts on our solutions, able to cover a good level of technical discussions with customers and dealers.
- Drive a technology distribution effort to help scale dealer technology organizations:
- Define a process and method to provide clear guidance to dealers on how to set-up, organize, scale their Construction Industries Technology organization.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback, and adjust the GTM and distribution strategy accordingly.
What You Have (Basic Qualifications):
- Degree and experience: 4-year college or university degree in marketing, business or a related field OR equivalent progressive experience in the manufacturing or construction technology industry.
- Global Perspective: Proven experience working on international projects, with an understanding of diverse markets.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies.
- Vendor/Supplier Management: Strong experience in managing relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and partners.
Top Candidates Will Have:
- Experience driving global marketing initiatives with a focus on technology integration.
- A proven track record of developing and scaling dealer networks or technology distribution channels.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Additional Info:
- This position requires 55% travel during the first year, with a focus on key markets.
- Relocation may be available to those who qualify.
