Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: North Carolina or South Carolina.
This position provides risk management and property and casualty insurance expertise at the highest level of service complexity. Builds and maintains relationships with customers at the C-suite level and with other key decision makers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.
In a constantly changing industry, this person will need to continually expand their knowledge of critical trends and key issues to be able to provide valued strategic insight and solutions.
Collaborates to lead service initiatives, underwriting meetings, and day-to-day account management activities. Requires excellent communication and partnership skills.
Responsibilities
- Account Servicing - Administers and manages the day-to-day aspects of the customer account. Accurate and timely system documentation. Directs the customer service team activities for the assigned customer relationships.
- Sales Support - Manages the customers' insurance and risk program to include developing and evolving coverage needs and gaps. Identifies and communicates the identified opportunities to enhance insurance and risk management programs.
- Relationship Management - Interacts with partners to discuss strategies, program analysis, and coverage structures. Supports the management and retention of the relationship. Communicates strategies and direction to the customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in P&C Insurance coverage analysis and account management, OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in P&C Insurance coverage analysis and account management.
Preferred Education: BA, BS, 4-year college degree.
Preferred Area of Study: Risk Management & Insurance, Accounting, or Finance related degree.
Preferred Area of Experience: Financial Institutions.
Required License or Certification Type: Property & Casualty.
